Connoisseurs Deli and Cellar

I thought it would be a great idea today to finish this series featuring a special place where you can buy some of the delicious items that we have featured this week from our local food hero Artisans.

When my aunt, who lives in Bridlington, told me about a new Deli that had opened on Queen Street in Bridlington, selling local Artisan produced food, I was over the moon, big time.

Owners Alayna Gipson and her partner Paul have created a beautiful shop next door to their very popular Rustics restaurant and bar. The new Deli sells predominately Yorkshire Artisan food produce, and they are on the constant search for more award wining locally made food products to have in their range for customers to try, from cheeses, meats, pickles, jams, chutneys, cakes, biscuits and more.

They have also opened a sandwich bar, creating Artisan sandwiches as well as having pastries and lunch boxes for customers to buy.

I love the way Alayna and Paul are really supporting the local food Artisans by stocking their products and championing the talent and amazing food we have locally. How fantastic is it to have a local place that you can access these boutique food products all under one roof.

I will certainly be visiting this Deli in July, and no doubt I’ll be like a kid in a sweet shop wanting to buy and try everything.
